Tor Hersoug

(b. 1946) is an initiator in Acem, Director of Economic Research at the Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise. He has a Ph. D. from the University of Oslo, has taught as a Professor at the University of Trondheim and at the Norwegian School of Management, and has been a Visiting Scholar at Stanford University. He has practised Acem Meditation since 1968, finished his training as Instructor in 1969, initiator in 1972, and leader of communication groups in 1974. He has taught Acem Meditation in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, the Netherlands, England, Spain, USA, Canada, Australia, Malaysia, China, Taiwan, South Africa and the Gambia. In addition to his academic publications, he has published a book and several articles on Acem and Acem Meditation. He lives in Oslo, is married to Anne Grete Hersoug. They have a son and a daughter.
