An empty mind
Will meditation help you get rid of your thoughts? Many meditators seem to think so. But thoughts are not the problem, writes Torbjørn Hobbel. They are an integral part of meditation and represent underlying currents in our consciousness that surface when the mind is more open and receptive. An extraordinary course

”This course was not about instructors telling us a lot of theory about communication. Meditating in your twenties
”Who am I?” and ”What kind of life do I want?” Young meditators often find Acem Meditation helpful when it comes to reflecting on their own identities. It is an effective way of getting in touch with the most basic sides of ourselves. But ”personal growth”? What an abstract phrase! It is simply about getting more out of life!

Collaboration with Acem

Tibet tour cancelled

Some people feared that political developments would make it difficult for Acem Travels to fulfil its plans for a tour of Tibet in April 2009. As it turned out, however, the global economic crisis was a more relevant factor, and the tour has been cancelled for the time being due to dramatic changes in exchange rates.
