Acem India helps Tsunami victims

On December 26th, 2004, the tsunami hit the coastline of South India with terrible consequences for the fishing communities. Acem India took the initiative to offer help, and collected 100,000 rupees among their members and participants at the Acem International Meditation Retreat in Kerala in January 2005.

The money was given to support affected schoolchildren in Cuddalore district in Tamil Nadu in their final classes, with extra tuition and school materials that were lost when the wave destroyed their homes.
